An exploratory study was conducted on key factors that could be targeted for intervention using Stress Check data from a company. Data from Stress Checks conducted in a company in 2021 for 128 departments were used in the analysis. (n=1,272). A correlation analysis was conducted to identify key factors. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the factors affecting stress response (SR) and work engagement (WE). The results of the correlation analysis, as key factors, we extracted factors for which significant correlation coefficients of 0.50 or higher were calculated with many other factors. "Support from supervisors", "trust in supervisors”, "enrichment of personal life through work", "job confidence," and "rewarding job” were extracted. Multiple regression analysis revealed significant main effects from "job difficulty," "job confidence," and " enrichment of personal life through work" on SR, also a significant interaction effect between "job difficulty" and "support from supervisor” (R2=0.63). It was shown that the SR differed depending on whether "support from the supervisor" was obtained when the respondents felt the difficulty of the job. Moreover, significant main effects of "rewarding job," "enrichment of personal life through work," and "career considerations" on WE were found(R2=0.67). WE increased with increases in " rewarding job” and "enrichment of personal life through work". However, WE was found to decrease when "career considerations" increased.
